How to Use the Sheets

A practical guide for families and teachers.

The Format

Every sheet follows the same structure:

  1. Scenario — a real-life situation to draw the kinderlach in.
  2. Speech-bubble sources — the gemara, rishonim, and poskim brought to life.
  3. Fold-line — fold here so the kids don't see the answers yet.
  4. Kinderlach Q&A — questions for the kids based on what they just learned.

Suggested Order of Learning

Tips for Parents

  • Learn it through yourself first, before sitting down with the kinderlach.
  • Let the scenario do the work — start with "imagine this happened to us."
  • Don't rush the speech bubbles. Read them out loud.

Tips for Classroom Use

  • Print double-sided and fold along the dashed line.
  • Have chavrusas read the speech bubbles to each other.
  • Use the kinderlach Q&A as an exit ticket.
